How to Use Spirit Carp in Genshin Impact

Getting Spirit Carps and using them seems to have stirred plenty of confusion among Genshin players. The process of getting these items does have more than a few steps, so I’m not surprised that people are looking for a bit of help getting them.

The complex open world of Genshin Impact can leave even some of the most experienced players dazzled, so I decided to dive into this Spirit Carp problem and see how you can get and use them for your benefit. Dive in to find out more!

How to Get Spirit Carp and Where to Use it In Genshin Impact

Spirit Carps are items found in Chenyu Vale (Liyue) that you can offer to the Rainjade Oblation, an offering system that gives you rewards. However, this isn’t available right off the bat.

To start your chase for the Spirit Carps and reap the rewards of using them, you first need to start and complete the World quest series Chenyu’s Blessings of Sunken Jade in Chenyu Vale (Liyue). Follow that up with the quest Cloud-Padded Path to the Chiwang Repose that will unlock the Carp’s Rest and Rainjade Oblation, where you can deposit your Spirit Carps.

There will be dozens of Spirit Carps scattered all over Chenyu Vale, and when you are close to one, a small icon will pop up on your minimap, indicating that you are close. After getting 40 of them, you will get the chance to reveal the location of the ones you didn’t find yet.

How Does Rainjade Oblation Work

When you collect a certain number of Spirit Carps, you can then drop them at Rainjade Oblation and reap some rewards. You can give Spirit Carps in groups of 5, and as you do, you are actually leveling up the Rainjade Oblation. The higher the level of this offering system, the better rewards you get. • Level 2 Reward – Philosophies of Prosperity, 50,000x Mora, 200x Adventure EXP, 10x Mystic Enhancement Ore
• Level 3 Reward – Crown of Insight, 50,000x Mora, 200x Adventure EXP, 10x Mystic Enhancement Ore
• Level 4 Reward – Philosophies of Diligence, 50,000x Mora, 200x Adventure EXP, 10x Mystic Enhancement Ore
• Level 5 Reward – Acquaint Fate, 50,000x Mora, 200x Adventure EXP, 10x Mystic Enhancement Ore
• Level 6 Reward – Philosophies of Gold, 50,000x Mora, 200x Adventure EXP, 10x Mystic Enhancement Ore
• Level 7 Reward – Intertwined Fate, 50,000x Mora, 200x Adventure EXP, 10x Mystic Enhancement Ore
• Level 8 Reward – Northlander Billet Trove, 50,000x Mora, 200x Adventure EXP, 10x Mystic Enhancement Ore
• Level 9 Reward – Rainjade Statuette: Tender Discourse, 50,000x Mora, 200x Adventure EXP, 10x Mystic Enhancement Ore
• Level 10 Reward – Chenyu: Rainjade Rite, 50,000x Mora, 200x Adventure EXP, 10x Mystic Enhancement Ore
