Can You Remove Key Items in Palworld

Palworld keeps you busy doing plenty of things – whether it’s constructing your might base or hunting as many Pals as possible. So, nowhere in this gameplay would you want to be kept busy by minor things like transferring items in and out of your inventory.

Even though it can seem like a no-brainer to beginners, some players who have put in dozens and dozens of hours into Palworl have noticed that there are unclear and annoying features of Key Items. Keep reading and find out whether you can remove Key Items in Palworld or not.

Can You Drop Key Items in Palword

In short – no. You can not remove equipped Key Items from your inventory in Palworld. This might be changed in the future as new updates roll in, but at this time, it’s not possible to drop these items.

We started noticing this first when trying to share duplicate items with our friends. For example, I made multiple Daedram necklaces and wanted to give them to my friends but then got hit by a train of disappointment.

If you’re in a similar situation, you should know that there is a small workaround when it comes to sharing items with friends. When you make an item for someone else at the Workbench, don’t pick it up. Leave the item sitting on the bench and let your friend take it. That way, you can share items you create.

How to Fix Daedream Necklace Without Removing it

The Daedream necklace creates another problem for players who have it equipped. Namely, as you know, when you have this item, Daedream in your party will start acting aggressively toward hostile Pals and get you in some fights you’d rather skip. This is the reason why many gamers wanted to toss this item but were unable to.

However, there is a solution to this problem. If you navigate to the Pal Commands Menu and change Daedream’s aggressive stance, your Pal should skip punching everyone around. I say “should” because there are plenty of bugs reported in the game where Pals with aggressive stances are quite passive, and ones with defensive stances are quite hostile.
